I am a travel PTA turned recruiter for Pioneer Healthcare! I started my travel therapy career with Pioneer Healthcare and stayed with them until I joined the team as an Allied Recruiter. I decided to make the transition in May 2023 because I was feeling burnt out and looking for an opportunity with more opportunities for advancement while still helping people in the community. I have learned that there are not very many recruiters that have clinical experience or even exposure to the ins and outs of our lovely healthcare system! My biggest goal as a recruiter is to help to bridge that knowledge gap and serve as a Trusted resource for the travel community. I am originally from Central Indiana. I have my bachelors in Exercise Science from Purdue University ('14), and my Associates in Physical Therapy Assisting from the University of Evansville ('18). Some of the places I have lived include Charleston, SC; Ketchikan, AK; NE Oregon; Sonoma, CA; San Francisco, CA; Sonora, CA; and now San Diego, CA. I worked in SNFs for 3 years and transitioned to Home Health for the last 2 years. I have now settled in San Diego with my boyfriend and our adorable pup, Diego.
