I earned my Bachelor's in Communication Studies from Northwestern. Most of my career has been in HR so Recruiting seems like a natural fit for me. Hi, my name is Amanda, I have over 16 years of experience working with people in a variety of roles. My heart lies in building a trusting relationship by truly listening to my travelers in order to help each one to reach their goals. As a military spouse, I have a unique understanding of the challenges and the excitement that comes with moving across the country frequently. The first duty station I moved to with my Air Force husband was to Anchorage, Alaska! In my life, I have had the privilege to live in 25 different cities, throughout 8 different states. So needless to say, I have had the chance to experience settling into new places. Currently, my husband and I are stationed in Little Rock, AR, where we have been now for 12 years! I have an amazing set of twins (one boy and one girl) and a golden retriever named River. Outside of recruiting, I am also a Competitive Gymnastics Coach for my daughter and her team. I also enjoying spending time outdoors and being active from hiking and fishing to staying healthy through fitness.

Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to build experience across a diverse range of roles. After graduating high school, I pursued a career in plumbing. While working full-time, I completed four years of schooling and earned my license as a Journeyman Plumber. I spent the next decade in the trade, gaining extensive hands-on experience and developing a strong work ethic in demanding environments.

After 10 years in plumbing, I transitioned into various sales roles. I was ready for a new challenge—one that allowed me to leverage my communication skills and industry knowledge in a different way, without the physical toll that often comes with working in crawlspaces, attics, and other tight quarters.

In addition to my plumbing and sales experience, I spent 10 years teaching snowboarding. During that time, I taught hundreds of students of all ages and ability levels. I’m a passionate instructor who understands that everyone learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my approach to meet each individual’s needs. For me, learning should be both effective and enjoyable—otherwise, what’s the point?
